Recently, read an article which caught me thinking.

The article talks about graduates finding jobs even before they graduate/ finish school. It seems like everyone in the uni is so eager to find a job and getting themselves ready for interviews.

She mentioned that in the Western countries, like in the States, the graduates are unlike those graduates from Singapore. They will become backpackers and go around exploring the world. Somehow, they will enjoy their life at a certain point in time before entering into the workplace.

Is this wad we should be doing too? Why are we so anxious in getting a job for ourselves?
Afraid we can't get a job in future?
Or with work, it makes us seem more "useful" and have a bright future ahead?

Perhaps we are so conformed to the pattern of this world. Careers.. cash... the 5Cs are more impt than our lives.

People in Singapore live to work instead of work to live.
It really 'ke bei' to see this happening somehow. But it seems to be the norm.
